How are MB secure if lost since "tied" to credit card. I am concerned it could be used for charges/DDP entitlements. When is pin number required with the bands? Are the bands "scanned" at a restaurant and pin number required to use DDP?

    Hi Donna!

Great questions! Rest assured that the MagicBands are pretty secure. I have lost mine and never had a problem with someone using it. In fact, if you lose it, you can deactivate it in seconds on your My Disney Experience App. To answer your question, yes, anytime you charge to it or use a dining credit at a restaurant, you have to scan and you have to input your 4 digit pin. You can also have the pin changed at Guest Services or the Front Desk at your Resort. I love using the MagicBands because I don't have to worry about carrying my wallet. Simple and convenient! Hope this helps!
