Hello, maybe i haven't read into this more but I was curious what exactly are Disney Dollars, like how do you get them/what do you use them for. thank you

Hi Cassandra!  My family loves the Disney dollars!  They can be purchased through-out the Walt Disney World property and the easiest and best place to get them is at the Guest Services at the parks.  Most of the resorts will also have a small quantity available at the front desk or concierge desk.

This is Disney money that can be used for anything: food, lodging, entertainment, and recreation during your stay at Walt Disney World.  It is a fun way to make a vacation just a little more special especially for the children.  Some parents give their kids a certain amount of Disney dollars for a gift when they announce they will be spending a vacation at Disney.  This can be used for their personal souvenir purchase while they are there.  Our family has a game for every dining meal we spend together.  We offer envelopes with varying amounts of Disney dollars in them and its luck of the pick who gets the higher amount.  That tradition was started years ago when the kids were little and now they are in their 30's with their own children and still expect to play that game!
