Hello, Amy,
I did a little checking into this, and it actually looks like a trip on November 1, 2012, through November 8, 2012, is actually the Fall Season. I searched and couldn't find a significant holiday during that time other than Election Day on November 6, 2012. However, there are several events happening at WDW the first part of November, but they aren't happening until the weekend of November 9, 2012, which may bring in more crowds toward the end of your trip.
In fact, your trip falls in a transition time with the last
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party wrapping up on November 2, 2012, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party not beginning until November 9, 2012. So during the week that you are there, the Magic Kingdom park will make the transition from fall decorations to holiday decorations.
Aside from Thanksgiving weekend, November is traditionally a great time to visit with lighter crowds and the chance to enjoy
Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival and the Eat to the Beat Concerts.
Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
