how may I switch my day park reservation to Magik Kingdom, to the Merry Bright event on Sunday Nov. 21. 2021

    Hi Evelyn!

Walt Disney World is so festive during the holidays! The theme parks are decked out with zillions of twinkling lights, thousands of bright red poinsettias, and hundreds of brilliantly decorated Christmas trees. I adore the Mickey shaped wreaths that adorn the lampposts.

To change a theme park reservation, you must cancel your current one and make a new one for a different park. There is no way to modify an existing park booking, so be sure to check the Theme Park Availability Calendar to make sure there are openings in the new park of your choice. The weekend before Thanksgiving is a popular time and multiple parks are currently booked to capacity.

The Disney Very Merriest After Hours are so much ho-ho-ho holiday fun! Endless snacks (By Mickey, it's true! All the ice cream, hot cocoa, snickerdoodle cookies, popcorn, and Diet Coke you can handle!), special holiday fireworks, and a full-on parade are all part of the late night event. This party is a separate ticketed event and is not included with standard theme park admission. You will need to purchase a ticket for the Disney Very Merriest After Hours rather than switch your park reservation. You may switch your theme park reservation to a different park, enjoy the day at another theme park, and then enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 7:00 pm with an after hours event ticket.

Wishing you a very merry visit to see Mickey!
