We are going in May and staying at the CBR in a Pirate room my boys are 11 and 4 -from reading some of the responses I am now worried about our resort choice. Are we going to spend too much time on the buses getting where we want to go?

Hi Teisha!
We recently stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort in a Pirate Room and I have to say it impressed my kids more than I would have ever expected! The resort is pretty big and the Pirate Rooms are a bit far from Old Port Royale (also known as Centertown) where the pool, food court and stores are located. However, we found that wait times for transportation to the theme parks was reasonable, and we were there during the January marathon. There's also an internal bus service that will take you from your building to Old Port Royale and the wait time was fairly reasonable as well. If you think this will be too much trouble for your family, then you should consider changing your room to a closer building like Martinique or Trinidad North.
