this may sound strange..Single parent with a 2yo. Is there anyone whose had to deal with motion sickness. Realized mine has gotten worse w/ age and must ride the rides with my son & tk pics. Any suggestions to avoid the migraine i am bound to receive

    Hi Shira!

I totally feel your pain!!!  After experiencing hyperemesis with all three of my pregnancies, I find that I am more sensitive to motion than before.  I cried for 30 minutes after riding Mission Space - never again!  The great news is that your two year old will not be tall enough to ride on the majority of attractions that would set your head spinning.  Leaving out all attractions that your son will not be able to ride, I will just cover the others.

Number one on the list....the spinning cups at the Mad Tea Party.  I avoid those like the plague!!!  Also at the Magic Kingdom,  I would  be wary of Dumbo, the Astro Orbiter,  the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Cinderella's Carousel and whatever you do, don't spin your vehicle on Buzz Lightyear!  At Hollywood Studios, I would be a little leery of Toy Story Mania, although this is such a spectacular attraction!  I would avoid TriceraTop Spin at Animal Kingdom, as it is a Dumbo type of attraction.  At Epcot, you should be just fine with everything that your son is able to enjoy!

The great news is that all "questionable" experiences will be clearly labeled with a warning to avoid if you have motion sickness.  You will still be able to take in TONS of attractions and have a fabulous vacation!!!

    Much pixie dust,
