    This may be a silly question... We are thinking about purchasing tickets to Mickey's not so scary halloween. I now they have candy, a parade and fireworks going on but are the rides still open?

    There is no such thing as a silly question! MNSSHP is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom. 

    Most of the popular attractions are open during MNSSHP. I don't have a 2010 Guide Map yet for this year's list but here are the ones that WERE NOT open in 2009 (its a shorter list than those that were open): 

    • Main Street Vehicles
    • WDW Railroad
    • Jungle Cruise
    • Tiki Room
    • Tom Sawyer Island
    • Country Bear Jamboree
    • Liberty Square Riverboat
    • Carousel of Progress
    Space Mountain was closed for refurbishment last year but will be open this year with a cool new soundtrack featured in "Starry-O-Phonic Sound".

    Depending on when you visit, "it's a small world" is closed now thru Oct 22 & the Mad Tea Party will be closed Sept 26th - Nov 10th.

    Please keep in mind that any attraction is subject to close without notice.

    A bonus to this event is that the number of tickets sold is limited so the lines are typically shorter for the attractions.
