Hello! I may have a silly one, but we are coming to WDW Sept 8-12, have the QSDP and I am seeing about Rapid Fill Mugs. Would love to know what this are and if can be used at all value resorts, & if it's included for all days at the hotel. Thanks!

    Hi Kimberly,

This is not a silly question at all. In fact, a lot of guests are asking about it.

Rapid Refill Mugs are beverage cups that allow guests to purchase refillable drink privileges for different periods of time. If you are only staying at a resort for a night, you can get unlimited refills for a lesser price than guests staying at a resort for a longer period of time.  Because you have a dining plan, your mug will be good for your entire length of stay. It's my understanding that you can get refills as any resort with quick service restaurants. A special chip in the mug will tell you when it's filled and also let you know how many days remaining you have to use the mug for unlimited refills.

The next time you return to Walt Disney World, you can bring back your reusable mug and add as many days as you want, extending the life of your refillable drinking cup.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
