Hi Deb!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
Disney Dining Plan is something I enjoy using every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the flexibility and convenience it offers across Walt Disney World Resort - at the theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels and select locations at
Disney Springs. It is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their own entitlements, but your dining plan credits may not be shared with other Guests who do not have a dining plan. When you arrive at your table, your server will ask if you are using a Disney Dining Plan, so just advise them that you will be using your dining plan and others at your table will be paying by another method. If you wish to convert a Table-Service entitlement to a Quick-Service credit this may be done at the restaurant's discretion in exchange for one meal. Again, speak with your server, and if they will permit this exchange they can arrange this for you. In the same way, if the restaurant or facility will allow a conversion to three Snack credits, they will do this for you at the time of purchase. If you find you still have some Table-Service entitlements left at the end of your stay, I would suggest visiting your Quick-Service location, or retail location within your Disney Resort hotel and ask if they will convert your Table-Service credits to Snack credits. You could pick up a few items for your journey home, or to take home as gifts! Unfortunately there is currently not a precise list of locations where you can convert dining credits to snacks, but it's always worth asking.
The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure, and
please remember that Table-Service dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either
online, or by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, and for all the latest news and updates on events happening during your trip, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog.
