    hi. We may purchase the CityPass and it comes with a 3day parkhopper with 1 magic morning. What is this magic morning exactly? how does it work?

    Hi there Angie,

    The Southern California CityPass can be a great value if you are planning to visit other SoCal destinations as well as Disneyland. One of the bonus features of this pass is admission to one Magic Morning at Disneyland Park.

    Magic Morning will allow you to enter Disneyland Park one hour before the park opens to regular guests on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday during the valid dates of your City Pass.  Magic Morning is only good for Disneyland Park and can only be used one time.  Plan to arrive at the park entrance about an hour and 15 minutes prior to regular park opening.  You will be able to enjoy select attractions before the public arrives and will be permitted to just remain in the park after it opens to guests for the day!

    If you end up staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour, which is essentially the same, but a bit more flexible.  Disneyland Resort hotel guests can enter either Disneyland or California Adventure an hour early each day of stay according to this schedule (valid theme park ticket and room key are required for admission):

    Disneyland Park: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
    California Adventure: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
