Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Debbie.
Aren't the new
Walt Disney World Annual Pass cards so cute? I absolutely love the new design for the 50th-anniversary celebration. It's a fun change. At this time, Debbie, you'll need to visit in person to get a new card as they aren't mailed. You can get a new card at any of the
Guest relation locations at the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks or at Disney Springs. To get a new card you'll need to verify your Annual Pass, this is done with the Cast Member scanning your MagicBand or ticket card and looking at your account. After verification, they'll write your name on the back of the card and off you'll go. It's a super quick and easy process but you do have to do it in person at this time. I changed mine out on the first day they were available and then I did my family's cards just last week. It was the same process both times.
Hopefully, you'll be able to sneak away and update your card soon, Debbie. If you go soon you can catch all of the Christmas decorations up. I so enjoy how festive it makes everything around this time of year. As I said, you don't have to go to a Walt Disney World Theme Park to get your new card. This can be done at
Disney Springs so if you didn't want to spend a day going to the parks to do this, you don't have to. I see that you are from Florida so maybe you can tie in a Christmas shopping day at Disney Springs and update your card. Kind of like a two-for-one.
I'm sorry I can't be more of a help to you right now, Debbie. But if you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
I hope you have a magical holiday season!
