May I place the cost of an already-purchased but not yet used one-day park ticket onto my Magic Key application/down payment?

Hi there LoriAnne, and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you're hEAR!

It sounds like you're about to join the ranks of many enthusiastic Mouseketeers and purchase a Disneyland Resort Magic Key. That's definitely something to chEAR about. You're in for an amazing year of visits to faraway planets, superhero training facilities, and more!

I have great news for you; you can absolutely upgrade an unused single-day ticket to a Magic Key pass and apply the amount paid to the downpayment. Even better, you can do this right from the palm of your hand using the Disneyland mobile app! From the home screen of the app, click on the parallel lines at the bottom and tap on "Tickets & Passes." When you see your ticket, hit "Upgrade to a Magic Key Pass." Follow the prompts, add your payment information and personal details, and you'll be on your way! Keep in mind that you'll lose any theme park reservations associated with your ticket upon upgrading, so be sure to rebook those right away.

I hope this is helpful, LoriAnne! Best wishes are you embark on your incredible journey as a Magic Key holder. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and our social media accounts so you don't miss any of the excitement happening in the Disneyland theme parks and resorts throughout the year. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we can't wait to see ya real soon!
