One of the best things about booking your trip to Walt Disney World Resort online is how easy it is to view and modify your reservation with your My
Disney Experience account. This will also be the place you will be able to see and pay your final payment. This does depend on the type of reservation you made, so let's talk about some differences.
If you booked a
vacation package, which includes hotel and park tickets, your final payment is due 30 days before your arrival. If you wanted, you can make payments towards this amount as well as pay the whole amount from your My Disney Experience account. After you log on, scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. On the far right, you should see an option to "Make Payment". Click on that link and follow the prompts for your payment. You should receive a confirmation email after your transaction as well.
If you booked a
room-only reservation, this works a little differently. In the same area above, the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section of your My Disney Experience account, you should still see your total amount due in this area. This amount is due on the date of arrival and usually will be paid at check-in. This amount cannot be paid in advance, unfortunately.
Another really cool feature of your
My Disney Experience app is the ability to use the
Direct-to-Room Service. As long as everything is paid in full, with this feature, after your go through the steps to check-in online, the app will notify you when your room is ready and show your assigned room number. So no need to stop by the front desk and more time enjoying the resort! Also, on the day of your arrival, if you get to the resort before your room is ready, you can access the pools and all other amenities of the resort. Great time to settle in and do a little exploring of the resort!
