This may be an odd question, but are we allowed to move the picnic tables at the tent sites Fort Wilderness? We want to move it under our canopy to hold our stuff but not sure if we're allowed to do that or if we should just bring our own table.

    Howdy, Sophia!

Thanks for visiting planDisney. That’s not an odd question at all, and I’m happy to help!

At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, guests often have a little flexibility to move the picnic tables around their campsite to suit their needs. Moving the table under your canopy for better shade and convenience is usually okay, as long as it stays within your designated campsite area and doesn’t block any pathways. However, it's always a good idea to double-check with the Fort Wilderness Cast Members when you check in. They can confirm any specific guidelines and ensure you’re all set for a magical stay!

If you'd rather be safe than sorry, bringing your own foldable table can also be a great solution. It gives you extra space and flexibility without any concerns about the rules.

I’m looking forward to a stay at Fort Wilderness with my family next spring, and here’s what’s on my “must-do” list:

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - This classic dinner show is an all-you-can-eat feast with fried chicken, BBQ ribs, and more while being entertained by lively singing, dancing, and comedy. It's a rootin', tootin' good time for the whole family!

Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long - Everyone’s favorite chipmunks host an evening of s’mores, songs, and a classic Disney movie under the stars. It’s a great way to unwind after a day at the parks. Also, any time there are s’mores involved, count me in!

These are just a sampling of the many activities that make Fort Wilderness a magical place to stay. Whether you’re seeking adventure or just a cozy campfire evening, there's something for everyone. “The wilderness must be explored! Caw caw, rawr!” – Russell, Up

I hope you have the most magical vacation ever!
