Hello there, Gwen, and welcome to planDisney!
If you need to postpone your trip, Hakuna Matata! (That means "no worries.") What I love the most about my Happy Place is that no matter when I visit, there's something new to experience or something unique happening. Just this year, there have been so many cool experiences like the thrilling
TRON Lightcycle / Run rollercoaster. I'd love to show you the world of options that you have regarding your trip, Gwen.
Unused and unexpired theme park tickets can indeed be modified; however, tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. You can change the start date of your trip via your
My Disney Experience account online or in the My Disney Experience app. In the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Select "Tickets and Passes," select your ticket, and then "Change Ticket." Because Disney ticket prices vary throughout the year, depending on the new dates that you select, you may have to pay the difference between the cost of your new and old dates.
Well, for how long are they good to go? Most likely, your theme park tickets expire at the end of the year that follows the year you purchased them. For example, if you purchased your tickets this year, they expire in December 2024. Or in the "Tickets and Passes" section in the My Disney Experience app, you may see the expiration date posted under the selected ticket.
I hope that you found this information helpful and that you can find the perfect time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! Gwen, if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to
ask me here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
