We are going in May 09 as a magical gathering. I would like to make up baskets for everyone. Any suggestions on things we would need to take, also I would like to place autograph books and photo albumns in them, any suggestions on where I could get those

There are a few ways to approach this:

The fabulous cast members at the Disney World Floral and Gift Basket department create baskets for magical gatherings all the time. If you'd like to save yourself some work, you could have them make baskets for you. You can check out their website at or call them at 407-827-3505. They have many standard options, or you could ask them to make anything custom that you wanted. They could then deliver the baskets to your guests' rooms.

If you want to create your own baskets, to get any item sold in the Disney parks via mail, you could contact the Disney Mail Order Merchandise Department at or 407-363-6200. They could send you autograph books and photo albums to your home. Or, since you're in New Jersey, I have another option for you. I had a dentist appointment in Manhattan today (very exciting, I know) and ended up stopping in the World of Disney Store on 5th Avenue. If you're not far from NYC, then this would be a GREAT place for you to stock up on Disney gear. There were autograph books, photo albums, lots of trading pins, and just about every other form of Disney themed merchandise. Perfect basket stuffing material!

If you're looking for non-themed items to add to the basket here are some Disney travel essentials that would be helpful to any Disney guest: sunscreen, disposable cameras, rain ponchos, bottles of water (or other beverages), snacks, pens (thicker bodied pens are best for autographs), a pin lanyard, plush toys, a small first aid kit (band aids, aspirin, etc.), small items to pass the time waiting in lines (Mad Libs, silly putty), personalized t-shirts, gift cards for the hotel arcade, laminated schedule of meals, etc.  Really anything to add fun or comfort would work.

Your idea is very thoughtful. I'm sure anything you come up with will be greatly appreciated by your family.

    Have a great trip!
