Hi LaDonna,
We are thrilled to see you dropping by planDisney with a question!
With a standard
1 Park Per Day Ticket, you should be able to leave the park and return to the same park during the normal operating hours provided there are no capacity closures. Be advised that park attractions could be subject to availability. We love to go to the park at park opening, stay through lunch and then head back to the resort hotel for a break in the early afternoon. We return for dinner and fireworks.
Although I generally feel pretty comfortable leaving the park and returning, we never try to do so on Christmas day at Magic Kingdom. If we leave, we do not try to return. In past years, the crowds have been massive. We've had a wonderful time, but I strategize to leave as the crowds are getting more intense. Luckily, your date is different! If you have not yet purchased your ticket, think about adding the
Park Hopper® Option. Looking at your arrival date, Magic Kingdom is scheduled to close at 10:00 p.m. You could visit another park earlier in the day and head to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon.
LaDonna, unfortunately,
Disney After Hours in Magic Kingdom Park is currently sold out. So, it may be quite busy as you try to leave the park if you visit Magic Kingdom and stay until park closing. Keep this in mind as you make your transportation plans. Sending you a little extra pixie dust trusting that magic will follow you to each and every theme park!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
