Hi Nan!
I was so excited to see that you sailed back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask more fabulous questions! I'm so glad you're choosing to take
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral the morning you fly in for your magical voyage. My family always uses this service because it's super convenient and fun!
The ride from the Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral will take just about an hour; however, the time will fly by! As soon as you board the motor coach and get settled, a video will begin to play highlighting all the fun you'll find onboard your Disney Cruise as well as classic Disney cartoons, Disney trivia and more! Before you know it, you'll see the beautiful ship waiting for you from the motor coach windows. Oh! I have a suggestion: For the best pictures of your Disney ship from the motor coach, I suggest sitting on the driver's side! My family always loves beginning our Disney Cruise vacation pictures with the first one being from the motor coach!
If you're arriving at Port Canaveral before your
designated Port Arrival Time, there is seating at the Cruise Terminal. Mickey and Minnie might even make a special appearance to take pictures with Guests! After checking-in at your designated Port Arrival Time, you'll receive a boarding number. The first group of Guests are typically able to begin boarding the ship between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
Nan, may I just say I get the biggest smile on my face as soon as I "sea" a question submitted from you! It has been an absolute pleasure having the opportunity to help you plan your family's voyage sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey!
