May 30th through June 6th with a 4(girl) and 9(boy) year old. This is our first trip. What should we do? Any extra's? We are staying at the Saratoga. This is a surprise trip so we can not ask the kids what they want to do until we get there. Pack?

    Hi Tiffany!

Look for my family when you are there - this is one of my favorite times of the year to visit Disney World!  Saratoga Springs Resort is absolutely gorgeous and my family loves all of the extra space that we have when we stay there.  At this time of the year, you can count on warm weather with frequent rain.  Pack lots of shorts, sunscreen and rain ponchos.  Your children may want to wear sandals, but I advise packing some comfy worn in tennis shoes as well.

I also have a 9 year old boy and one of his favorite activities is the Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Imagine your son in a light saber duel with Darth Maul and you get the picture!   If your daughter is anything like my niece, she will adore the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, with locations at both the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney.  I wish I could see the joy on their faces when you surprise them - enjoy every second!

    Much pixie dust,
