there may be some family coming to visit one day during our may visit, is it possible to add them to our rest res ? and how will that work for a tip bc we will be bigger party (qualify for added tip to bill) but we have DDP and they will not - thanks!

    Hello Dawn,

It's always exciting when family and friends can join us on our vacation, even if it's just for one day!

If there's even a chance your family will be visiting, my suggestion would be to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE or go online to book a reservation for your entire party. You want to make sure the restaurant will be able to accommodate all of you on the big day.

Now, that evening, let the Cast Member know there will be some family members with you not on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). This will allow the Cast Member to separate the checks since you cannot use the DDP to redeem meals for family members not included in your Magic Your Way reservation. With separate checks, gratuity should not be an issue.

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
