Haunted Greetings, Dora!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. How exciting that you are planning to add some spooktacular fun to your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation by adding the
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party event. This is one of my favorite ways to add more magic to our vacation.
Dora, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members - those who are eligible for Member Benefits - do receive
Member discounts and benefits on hundreds of select tickets, tours, events, and experiences. You can purchase the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets for everyone in your party, including those Guests staying in a separate room.
To do this, first make sure everyone in both rooms is connected to you through the
Family & Friends option. Next, make sure that your Disney Vacation Club Membership is connected to your My Disney Experience account. Then, log in to your My Disney Experience account and follow the steps for purchasing the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets and select the number of tickets you need.
Now, to get the Disney Vacation Club price, you want to make sure you have this button selected. Above the calendar, you will see two buttons - one says "Products and Prices for All Guests" and the other one says "Products and Prices for Disney Vacation Club Members." You will only see this if you are logged in, are eligible for DVC discounts, and your DVC Membership is connected to your My Disney Experience account. Click on the DVC price, and you will be able to see which dates are available for the discounted rate. From here, select the number of tickets you need, and then add them to your cart.
Once you get to the checkout page, you can assign the tickets to each member of your Family & Friends that are traveling with you. If you don't do it at this step, you will also get an email with a barcode and ticket number, and then the other Guests can add their tickets to their My Disney Experience account afterwards using the barcode and ticket number. But it is easier to do it before you check out. Once you check out and pay, your fellow Guests should be able to see the tickets in their
My Disney Experience app. One thing to note is that the DVC Price will be available to view once tickets go on sale on May 15th (for Disney Resort Hotel Guests) or May 22nd (for non-Disney Resort Guests). If you do not see the DVC Price for a particular date, this would indicate that either you are not logged in, your DVC account is not connected to your My Disney Experience account, the DVC Rate is not available on that date, or you are not eligible for the DVC Discount.
I hope this helps you, Dora! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
