    May 2013 Dream Bahamas: question-while on shore what options to eat or do we walk back to ship? We just want R & R no plans! Since Disney owned "CAY" can you use room key to purchase food etc?

    I can't blame you for wanting rest and relaxation only...I'm the same...I want to get on that ship and not have to worry about where I have to be and at what time.  That's why I love Disney Cruise Line, you can sit back and relax, and when you want some entertainment, it's there waiting for you!

    Here's the official word from DCL regarding payments on Castaway Cay:

    How to Pay
    U.S. currency is accepted at the post office. Unique to the island, however, is an innovative payment system where you can use your stateroom keys (or Key to the World card) as a form of payment at Disney-run stores, just as you would a credit card. Similarly, dining services on the island are included as part of your cruise package.
