May I make dinner reservations for Blue Bayou when we visit in Aug?

    Hi there Heidi,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question.  I am so excited to see that you are planning a visit to Disneyland Resort this August, I am sure you will make some wonderful memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Guests are able to make Advanced Dining Reservations for your favorite Dining Location up to 60 days in advance, which includes Blue Bayou Restaurant.  Advanced Dining Reservations are extremely popular, and after a quick search, it looks like Blue Bayou Restaurant is at capacity for your date.  With that being said, don't give up hope, there is still a chance that you and your party will be able to secure a reservation prior to your visit to Disneyland Resort. I recommend checking as often as possible, I have been able to secure Advanced Dining Reservations by being persistent in my search.  Plans do change and guests may cancel reservations allowing for more reservations to become available.

If you are unable to make an Advanced Dining Reservation for Blue Bayou Restaurant prior to your arrival, head to the restaurant when you arrive at Disneyland Resort and ask a Cast Member if there are any reservations available for the day.  Most Dining Locations do have a limited number of Same-Day Walk-Up reservations, depending on capacity, which would give you another chance to dine at Blue Bayou Restaurant.

Sending lots of Pixie Dust in hope you will be able to secure an Advanced Dining Reservation for Blue Bayou Restaurant, Heidi.  If you have any other questions, please visit us at planDisney, we are always happy to help.
