    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney world Moms Panel.  You should plan on visiting all of the theme parks.  You should also consider one of the water parks if your children like to swim.  I have two boys, ages 12 and 7, and both have loved visiting the water parks for years.  Their favorite is Typhoon Lagoon, though many other young guests prefer Blizzard Beach.  I don't think you can go wrong with either.  You should also expect that you children will want to spend some time at the hotel pool!

You should also make some Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs).  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  ADRs are critical if you want to experience some of the Table Service (full service) restaurants at Walt Disney World.  My boys favorite places include:
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club
    • Breakfast at Ohana in the Polynesian
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
    • Garden Grill in Epcot
    • Sci-Fi Dine In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
Since it is your first time visiting, I highly recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information, but not overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel for everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

Our answers are limited in length, so please write back with more questions!   Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
