Hi Luliia!
We're so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question. It brings us a lot of joy to share our Disney planning knowledge with fellow Guests just like you!
The SoCal Resident Ticket offer is a good one! I can understand wanting to take advantage of it to spend three full days in the magic this spring. This special ticket is designed for locals, and Guests are required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting proof of residency within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599. We have confirmed with Cast Members that the ID must have both the photo and the eligible address, so unfortunately, a temporary license and passport together are not accepted. I'm so sorry to have to share that news with you today!
I do hope I can brighten your spirits, though. The SoCal Resident Ticket expires on May 15, 2025, which is just around the corner. The good news is that there is another special ticket offer on the horizon that does not require proof of residency - the
Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer! This ticket is valid from May 16 - August 14, 2025, and is offered at special pricing with a
3-day and 4-day option. The days do not need to be used consecutively, so you would essentially have three months to schedule in your visits. Additionally, you can choose to upgrade your ticket to include Park Hoppers and Lightning Lane Multi Pass if you're looking to maximize your time in the magic.
There is so much in store for the
70th Anniversary! With this special ticket, you'll be able to experience it all! We will see the return of some fan-favorite entertainment like the
Paint the Night Parade and
Wondrous Journeys fireworks show at Disneyland Park and
Better Together: Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade at California Adventure. Additionally, new entertainment offerings will be sprinkled throughout the resort with the
Tapestry of Happiness projection show at "it's a small world", the
Celebrate Happy daytime cavalcade, and a brand new nighttime spectacular at California Adventure -
World of Color Happiness! complete with a pre-show starring the one and only Muppets. Beyond these larger additions to the entertainment offerings, you'll find festive anniversary fanfare throughout the parks with decorations, merchandise, and, of course, special sweet treats and snacks. I highly recommend taking a peek at the
Disney Parks Blog which continuously updates with announcements for what's to come!
Luliia, I hope this was helpful in your planning and that you find your way to the magic very soon! If you have any more questions, we are always here to help here at planDisney.
