Hello, It may be a couple years before we visit again. Should we save or destroy our magic bands? If destroy what information is stored on the band?

    Hi Anita!

I'm a huge fan of MagicBands! Long gone are the days of having to juggle park tickets, room keys, and paper FastPass tickets. It's so much more convenient to have everything in one place.

Personally, I like to hang on to my previous MagicBands. They are a great reminder of our trips, but even more importantly, they can be used interchangeably. This means you can use your current MagicBands on your next trip if you'd like. This is a great option if you'd like to have different color bands each day or if you purchase a specialty MagicBand.

If you don't want to have too many MagicBands active at one time, you can deactivate them in My Disney Experience (either online or via the mobile app). Simply log in to My Disney Experience and visit the My Profile section to manage your MagicBands and Cards. There you can choose to deactivate your band until you are ready to use it again. If you decide that you'd like to use it later, simply log in and reactivate it.

    I hope this helps!
