I may be checking in late at the Port of Orleans Riverside Resort and worry that I'll probably end up with the farthest room... would that be a fair assessment?

Hi Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is right around the corner! I love this gorgeous Disney Resort hotel. It is overflowing with southern charm and beautiful water views. I think you will enjoy your time there!

Even though you are checking in late, you won't necessarily end up in a room far away. I have checked in for my vacation late and had a great location! I do, however, recommend checking in early with Online Check-In. With this service, you can enter your phone number and have your room number texted to you. If you get the text message, you can actually skip the Front Desk altogether and head straight to your room where you'll use your MagicBand as your key to enter the room. With Online Check-In, you can also enter up to two room location requests. If you would like to make more specific room requests, you can call (407) 939-1936 and speak with a Cast Member. Requests are not guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible.

I hope this helps with your soon arrival, Cindy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
