Hi Lili!
Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR at planDisney!
This is an excellent question. I'm a huge fan of great deals, as well as more Disney days, so I give you all the applause for asking. Yes,
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Tickets can be upgraded, even to
promotional ticket offers, so long as the tickets you're wanting to switch to are the same price or higher than the ones you've already purchased. (I've done this before with a 1-day, 1-park military ticket and upgraded it to a park hopper promo.)
I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to peek inside your
My Disneyland Account to see which
Theme Park Admission Tickets you already purchased, Lili. But, from playing around with the theme park ticket purchasing calendar as well as reading the details of the new Summer 2022
California Resident Ticket Offer, it looks like you might be right on the line of over/under spend-wise. If the promo tickets are cheaper than the tickets you currently hold, your best bet would be to add on the brand new
Disney Genie+ ticket add-on option (if you didn't have that already). Not only is it a great value - you get Lightning Lane attraction reservations and
Disney PhotoPass downloads for each day of purchase! - but, adding Genie+ to all three park days at the time of upgrading might help your new balance exceed your original purchase price.
You can certainly call the
Disneyland Resort Ticket Helpline at (714) 781-4636 to ask them for assistance. However, I would wait until you're at Disneyland resort to officially make the upgrade, the reason being any changes made now will impact your current
Park Pass Reservations for your existing
theme park admission ticket. (If your current ticket is reissued now, you'll have to make new Park Pass Reservations, and the
Park Pass Reservation Calendar is already thinning out for the rest of this month.) I think you'll be fine to wait to make the upgrade on the last day of your existing ticket, which is usually how it works best when Guests upgrade from a multi-day ticket to a Magic Key. However, I double-check with the Cast Members in the ticket booth on your first day as they may know even more hashtag Disney hacks.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Lili, and I hope it all works out! Be sure to follow the
