We may be booking an unexpected Disney trip for the first week of April, but it depends to some extent on the availability of Fast Passes. With only a month to go, how difficult would it be to reserve the Fast Passes that we want this close to our trip?

    Hi Karen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited that you might be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few short weeks time! With the opportunity of booking our FastPass+ selections in advance we can organise our days and make our plans before we arrive. It is highly likely there will be some FastPass+ available one month ahead of time and my top tip is to keep checking - several times a day if necessary. Guests will be frequently changing their plans, and you may be lucky. When you log in to your My Disney Experience account you will see that you can choose FastPass+ for the whole of your trip, so make your selections for the last day of your vacation first, and work your way back. You can also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, where select parks on select days will open the gates to Disney Resort hotel guests an hour early, or for a few hours after official park closing - so the standby lines may be shorter then. Have you heard about the special ticketed events: Disney Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land, or Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland? You will have exclusive early access to these two magical lands, along with breakfast, and tickets can be purchased online. These would be a really fun way to start your day at either Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios, while enjoying shorter queues for rides.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation.
