Going in May for our 30th anniversary and can't decide where to stay. POR, POFQ, or splurge a little and stay at the Boardwalk Inn. Looking for something a little more quiet but close to adult entertainment since we won't have any kids with us.

A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a fabulous way to commemorate your 30th wedding anniversary.  Congratulations to YOU!  Since you're asking for an opinion,  I would splurge and book your stay at the Boardwalk Inn.  I think you've chosen a fantastic resort as one of your options.  The beauty of the Boardwalk is that you can have quiet, and be close to the action as well.  There are so many entertainment options right at your "doorstep."  It's so lovely to take an early morning stroll, coffee in hand, around Crescent Lake.  You can take a 5 minute walk from the Boardwalk over to the Epcot International Gateway.  It's so magical to have those eleven countries just a stroll away in the evening hours especially.  Wouldn't you enjoy being a five minute walk from a glass of champagne in France?  In addition,  Atlantic Dance and Jellyrolls are two venues for adult entertainment right on the Boardwalk itself.  If you're interested in great dining, you're also a walk away from fine lounges and restaurants in Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.

While Disney's Port Orleans Resort is also a wonderful place to stay, you will not be able to access the adult entertainment you are looking for quite so easily.  Aside from walking the grounds of the Resort itself, you would have to take transportation to get to the other areas you desire.

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
