I may want to take advantage of the free dining offer, but you can only get this with a non-discounted vacation package. Is it a better deal to get a package discount instead, and then pay out of pocket for meals or purchase a dining plan?

    Hi Jaime,

As someone that doesn't typically purchase a dining plan, I would still absolutely consider the free dining offer. While at other times of the year, you can sometimes
find a good deal without doing a dining plan, I feel that this is a great offer and one that many will plan their vacations around due to its amazing value. Keep in mind that the free dining offer is only offered on vacation packages with a minimum 5-night stay at select Walt Disney World resorts. There are a few exclusions including Little Mermaid standard rooms at Art of Animation, 3 bedroom villas and campsites.

Therefore, if you were planning on a shorter trip or one that doesn't fall within the date parameters of the offer, better deals might be out there. Take a look at the special offers page on the Walt Disney World website or head over to www.mousesavers.com to do a little comparison.

    Happy planning,
