we'll be there in May,3 adult & 2 kids (10&7) for 6 Nights. Can't decide if its the best value to get the dining plan? All have big appetites & love all foods, not so much into hotdogs & "junk" food. Staying in Pop Cen, don't know

    Heigh-Ho Stacy!

May is one of my favorite months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I love the weather and the special events like Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival and Star Wars Weekends. If I hear big appetites and love all food, then I usually recommend getting the Disney Dining Plan. It is no secret that I love to eat at Walt Disney World! However, I usually like to eat frequent, smaller meals, so sometimes the Dining Plans are not a good fit for me.

The Disney Dining Plan is a good way for me to try new things without looking at the price tag. I also enjoy the convenience. If your family is not into "traditional" kids food such as chicken nuggets, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, etc, there are tons of non-traditional options at Landscape of Flavors in Disney's Art of Animation Resort. That is a short walk from Disney's Pop Century Resort. My favorite is the Create Your Own Pasta Station where you can choose your pasta and ingredients and have it made in front of you.

I would suggest taking a look at restaurants ahead of time on Walt Disney World's Dining Page and check out the menus to see what interests you. Caution:don't start researching when you're hungry. I've done it; it wasn't pretty. My mouth would start watering. I also like to use Allears.net to see recent/current prices of menu items to give me a rough idea of cost.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please ask! I hope you have a magical, fantastical vacation!
