Hi, Kari! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am thrilled that you will be using
Disney MaxPass on your upcoming trip! It is going to save you oodles of time and I just know that you will love using it. When you link tickets to the other Disneyland Resort accounts, they will have access to make and edit FASTPASSES for the whole group just as you will be able to. So, you will have no problem if the group decides to split up during the day. You just have to ensure that each person has entered a park that day in order to select FASTPASSES for that Guest.
When you link your theme park tickets to each
Disneyland app, be sure to add a name to distinguish which ticket belongs to whom. Additionally, if any of the folks who aren't using the app decide to split from the group, they can still redeem any FASTPASSES they have selected by scanning their theme park ticket at the entrance of the FASTPASS queue.
My very best tip for using MaxPass is to always be aware of the time when you can select your next FASTPASS. Depending on how the timing works out, it is possible to hold two or more FASTPASSES at once when using Disney MaxPass. Further, you can overlap return times so you can hop from one attraction to the other. It's pretty easy to get the hang of once you start using it.
If you have any other questions about MaxPass or any other element of your trip, please stop by again! See ya real soon!
