Is there a maximum number of people that you can have linked on the Disney App in order to obtain a boarding pass for the Star Wars Rise of the Resistance ride?

    Bright Suns, Jamie!

It sounds as if you are making preparations to visit Batuu. Given the increase in planetary visitors, your questions are quite timely. I did contact website support to verify my answer for you. Currently, there is no limit to the number of individuals you can have linked as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience. As long as you have each individual linked in My Disney Experience, each person has valid theme park admission, and everyone enters the park with you on the day that you plan to join a boarding group, you should be able to include them in the boarding group selection process.

Having said this, we did the boarding group process twice on my last visit in December. The first day worked well, we got boarding group 38, and were called to join the Resistance by 9:47 a.m. On the second day, the app did not read my husband and girls as in the park. They tried scanning in the park twice more to no avail. We had to locate a Cast Member on Hollywood Boulevard who then entered us into a boarding group. On that particular day, several people had similar issues. Luckily, we were assigned boarding group 101 and were able to join the Resistance by about 8:30 that evening. My caution would, therefore be that the more people you have linked as you try to join a boarding group, the more challenges you could have in the process.

If possible, I would divide your group into smaller sub-groups of no more than six each and, depending on the group's size, have two or three people in charge of the boarding group process. Or, if you fight the First Order together no matter what, proceed with having one person assigned to leading the boarding group process with everyone linked to that person's Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. Be advised that if you split your group to sign-up for a boarding group, you could have entirely different boarding group numbers.

Given the dates of your arrival, I would check back again on the status of the boarding group process. Although we have operatives tracking First Order movements, we must remain prepared to shift our processes should we need to conceal the location of our secret base.

Jamie, we do need more people with your courage to join the cause. Plan carefully. Check the planetary hours for the date of your visit and be sure to allow enough time for transport and security clearance. We anxiously await your arrival.

    Till the Spire,
