Is there a maximum number of Lightening Lanes for multi-pass in a day. We are park hopping and I would like to know if we need to save some passes for the 2nd park after we book our initial three.

Welcome to planDisney, Missy! Your magical vacation will be here before you know it, and booking Lightning Lane Multi Pass is always high on my to-do list as my vacation gets closer! Combining this product with the Park Hopper Option is such a great value, so let's dig into all the details!

Missy, the great news is that there is no limit to the number of Lightning Lane Passes you can book and redeem using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but just keep in mind that your selections are subject to availability. Having used Lightning Lane Multi Pass a few times while park-hopping recently, I do think this is one of the best ways to maximize its value, and I've been able to book and redeem multiple attractions across multiple theme parks on recent visits! I find the value to be even greater when you plan your day starting in a park that opens earliest (my personal first choice is always Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) and ending in a park that's open the latest (usually, it's Magic Kingdom). I also usually stop by a park in between these two, so I always try to stack my first three selections early in the day so that as soon as I redeem one, I'm ready to book afternoon times at my next destination, and then evening or late night times at my final park of the day as I redeem those. Of course, depending on availability and attraction priorities, you may choose to book more popular attractions for later in the day if you find them still available!

Missy, one last thing I'll share is that you can also combine your Lightning Lane Multi Pass with Lightning Lane Single Pass when you are park-hopping. Using this strategy, you can purchase two single pass attractions at any of the four theme parks to experience even more magic! My favorite combination is Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom combined with an afternoon Lightning Lane Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and a late-night Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle/Run! It's so fun knowing I have adventures stacked up from morning to night!

I hope this helps, Missy, and I hope you get to use the Lightning Lane line over and over again on your upcoming visit! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
