Welcome to planDisney, Caryjo!
I bet your husband is so excited about
TRON Lightcycle / Run. I've actually never seen the movies (don't tell Mickey!), however, I am literally counting down the days until I get to experience this attraction. I know it's going to be so much fun!
Caryjo, the minimum height required to "enter the grid" is 48 inches (122cm). So my daughter is too small to ride it, to her utter dismay. However, there is no official maximum height. Although TRON Lightcycle / Run hasn't opened yet, I would anticipate your husband being good to go. If you have any worries on the day you visit, you can always ask one of the Cast Members at the entrance to the attraction. I'll wish upon a star that everything goes according to plan and that all your husband's wishes come true.
Since TRON Lightcycle / Run will be utilizing the
virtual queue system, make sure you become familiar with how to join the queue before you embark on your trip.
Also, make sure you find a good spot to view Happily Ever After. This fan favorite is returning to
Magic Kingdom Park in early April and is sure to sprinkle extra pixie dust on everyone's Disney day.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Caryjo.
