Hey howdy hey, Tracie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR! Your Disneyland Resort adventures will be hEAR before you know it!
I’d be happy to explain how
Disney MaxPass works. MaxPass is my favorite way to make the most of your Disney days! MaxPass allows you to make digital
Disney FASTPASS selections from the convenience of your mobile device, as soon as you enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. So, instead of walking up to each FASTPASS distribution point, you can let your fingers do the work by securing your next FASTPASS from your phone. If everyone in your group wants the benefit of MaxPass, they will need to add it to their own individual ticket, if they’re age 3 or older. So, if your daughter is at least 3-years-old, she will need to
have MaxPass added to her ticket, too. If she’s under the age of 3, she won’t require a theme-park ticket or MaxPass. She could still be a part of your FASTPASS group, though, assuming she meets the height requirement for the attractions your group chooses to ride. If she doesn’t, you can utilize
Rider Switch, which allows adult Guests to take turns riding an attraction while one waits with the younger Guest who’s unable to ride.
If your entire group doesn’t plan on purchasing MaxPass, I recommend at least one person does, so you can take advantage of the unlimited
Disney PhotoPass photo downloads that are included. PhotoPass is a great way to preserve your favorite vacation memories, and ensure everyone gets in the picture!
Don't forget to
download the Disneyland app prior to your arrival, too! It's my favorite handy helper for using MaxPass and PhotoPass, making dining reservations, checking attraction wait times, and mobile ordering food and drinks.
Please stop by with any additional questions you may have, Tracie, I’m all EARs!
