What is the max guest one can reserve for character dining? For example it will 11 of us trying to get into Story Time.. would I have to split our group? what if I only get reservations for one group but can't get for the other half?

Hiya Victoria - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about making advance dining reservations for Character Dining! I love eating at Walt Disney World Resort, and once you throw in some of my favorite characters, a regular meal transforms into a truly magical experience!

Advance Dining Reservations can be made 60 days in advance, so you still have some time to strategize! You can make your reservations online, in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, or on the phone by calling 407-939-3463. The phone lines are typically open at around 7 a.m. Disney time, and reservations are usually live a bit before 6 a.m. in the app and online.

I usually like to speak to a Cast Member on the phone when I'm planning for larger groups, just to help me figure out how to best accommodate our crew. For Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you may be able to secure a reservation for 11 Guests if you're one of the first to book on the first day you're eligible to make reservations, but to be honest, you'll likely have better luck getting two separate reservations, one for five Guests and another for six Guests. If you aren't able to find exactly what you're looking for, keep checking! Other Guests' plans change frequently, and when they do, you might stumble across a reservation that's a perfect fit for your crew! This usually happens more frequently on the days just before my trip.

I hope this information is helpful - please let me know if any other questions pop up that I can help with.
