Are masks still required in the parks?

    Welcome to planDisney, Hoyt!

Thank you for sending your very first question our way. It is a pleasure to assist Guests as they dream of a Walt Disney World Resort adventure!

All Guests ages 2 and up must bring their own face coverings and wear them in all indoor activities, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary and maintaining physical distancing. Face coverings are optional in outdoor common areas and pool decks, but please note that they are still required upon entering and throughout all attractions, theaters, and transportation. As you prepare for your visit, I suggest viewing the current face covering requirements and checking out the awesome Disney Cloth Face Masks available at

planDisney tip: Have you heard about Disney MagicMobile? This convenient service is available for iPhone and Apple Watch users, and eligible Google Pay-enabled Android smartphones, and allows Guests to enter the theme parks by holding their device near an access point. After linking theme park tickets to your Disney account, use the My Disney Experience app to create a MagicMobile pass, add it to your digital wallet and go enjoy your day at the parks!
I hope this information is helpful, Hoyt. Stop by once again real soon if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!
    Best magical wishes,
