Howdy Daisy!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for stopping by and sharing this great question with us!
As Mickey and his pals continue welcoming guests “
Returning to a World of Magic,” things may look a bit different than in years past. The
Walt Disney World Resort is doing a fantastic job keeping guests safe during this unique time. At this time, face coverings are required for all guests ages two and up when traveling on each Walt Disney World Resort transportation mode. For guests ages two and up that are unvaccinated, face coverings are required for all indoor locations, including transportation. In the link highlighted above, you can read through safety updates as they come available. The
Disney Parks Blog will also be keeping guests updated on all changes. At this time, we do not know what the face-covering guideline will be in October of this year.
October will be packed with “Memories to Last a Lifetime!” I know you are excited to experience the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort! I cannot wait to see all the surprises Mickey and his pals have planned for this 18-month, once-in-a-lifetime celebration! To stay up-to-date on all the announcements, go to “
The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”
As you continue to check the Disney Parks Blog and learn about all the exciting things to do and see in October, if you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney! We are always here to help you with all your planning questions, Daisy!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
