Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!
I can see that you will be enjoying a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few weeks! Thank you for stopping by with your question as you
plan your summer visit, we are thrilled to help!
Based on recent trends and guidance, the Walt Disney World Resort has continued to make changes to health and safety measures, including
face coverings. At this time, face coverings are optional in most areas for Guests who are fully vaccinated, but they are still required for all visitors using Disney buses, the monorail, and the Disney Skyliner.
Guests who are not fully vaccinated must continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation (except ferry boats). We have not heard about future changes coming to these requirements, but I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates, and remember to check the
Know Before You Go page as you prepare for your visit.
I hope this information is helpful, Elizabeth. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and check out our
Panel Extras for more tips and advice!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
