Hi Susan,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for dropping by with a few questions!
The
operational updates page includes the
current guidance on face coverings at the Walt Disney World Resort. Masks are required in all indoor locations except when actively eating or drinking while stationary including on enclosed Walt Disney World® Transportation. Unfortunately, I cannot speculate on what the mask policy might be at the time of your visit. I do know that the Cast Members with the Walt Disney World Resort have
health and safety guidelines that they follow.
With a vacation package, payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. If you book a vacation package with a resort hotel and theme park tickets, to receive a full refund, I suggest that you cancel at least 31 days in advance. If you booked directly through the Walt Disney World Resort, you could potentially get a full refund as long as you cancel within that window. Of course, if you use any third-party vendors in booking that reservation, you may not receive a full refund. So, be careful to read the terms and conditions when you book.
As you continue to make plans, keep an eye on the
Special Offers since offers are released periodically throughout the year. If you have not booked your vacation package yet, I do suggest that you do so soon. Once you book, be sure to
link that vacation package in
My Disney Experience. And then, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for each day that you have valid theme park admission.
Susan, also make note of your
advanced dining reservation window. We always select our dining locations carefully and make quite a few dining reservations. We love having a guaranteed time to eat. Keep up the fantastic planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
