Hey there, hi there Chelsea! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. I'm happy to assist a fellow Mouseketeer.
During the constantly evolving public health situation, it's more important than ever to stay tuned to official sites like the
Disney Parks Blog for updates to
current protocols as they may change before your January vacation. At this time,
all Guests must wear face coverings in indoor spaces and attractions as well as onboard transportation. There are no exceptions to this policy, so if wearing a mask is impossible for you, it might be best to postpone your trip until face coverings are no longer required.
If you can manage to wear a mask in short increments, since they are currently only required indoors and while onboard Disney transportation, the majority of your theme park day can take place without a face covering. To minimize your time on buses or monorails, consider renting a car or driving to the theme parks. My family loves visiting
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park where nearly everything is outdoors. Here, wearing a mask would only be necessary when entering a shop or restroom.
I hope this helps as you prepare for your upcoming trip, Chelsea. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
