Hi Marisol, My family and I are booked on the Disney Dream on May 2 to May 5, 2013. I'm trying to coordinate flights going home from Orlando to New York on May 5. Do you know approximately what time the ship would dock and we would get off?

    Hi Anne Marie,

Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  Congratulations on booking your Disney Dream cruise!  You're going to have such a good time that I'm positive that you and your family will be making plans for an even longer cruise BEFORE you back at Port Canaveral.  If you're curious, let me know...there are benefits to booking another Disney cruise while you're onboard:)

To help you in planning and to provide enough time for travel, Disney Cruise Line recommends the following guidelines for booking flights:
    • Latest Orlando International Airport (MCO) Flight Arrival on Embarkation Day — 1:45 p.m.
    • Earliest Flight Departure from MCO on Debarkation Day — 12:30 p.m.

On debarkation day, you will have breakfast in the dining room where you had dinner the prior evening.  If you had late dining, you're breakfast will be at approximately 8:00am.  Let's say you're there for an hour.  You then have to get off the ship and get through US Customs.  Then you have about an hour's drive to get to the Orlando airport.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions...I'm always happy to lend a fellow Disney cruiser a hand at planning.  Have a magical trip Anne Marie!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
