Hi Marisol! Looking into our very first Disney Cruise! The Wonder leaves Miami at 4:00pm. Does that mean you board the boat at 4, or do you have to be on several hours before and it sets sail then? Concerned about flight times from Boston & being on ti

     Hi there Kaylene!

Can I tell you how EXCITED I am for you and your family?  Your first Disney cruise?!?!?!  I wish I could be there to see your faces when you arrive!  You will be so amazed at all there is to see and do on a Disney cruise...you'll be planning your next sailing even before your first one is over...promise!

The terminal opens between 10:30 and 11:00am.  They start checking Guests in at approximately 12:30 to 1:00pm.  The reason that I can't give you an exact time is because it depends on when US Customs clears the ship for a new sailing.  You will have to be onboard by 3:00pm if the ship is set to sail at 4pm.  Since you are flying in, I suggest you arrive the day before your sailing, especially if you have young children.  You don't want the stress of a delayed flight and you'll be able to check in for the sailing early.  I love starting my cruises as soon as possible!  When you arrive, you'll have an amazing lunch in one of the restaurants and then you can start exploring the ship or even hit the pool (yes, they will be open)!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always here for you...thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and bon voyage Kaylene!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
