Hi Marisol - What is your favorite deluxe resort & why? I appreciate your input. Thanks.

    Hi Rachel,

My favorite deluxe resort is the Grand Floridian.

It's partly for sentimental reasons as we honeymooned there and have spent anniversaries there as well. Although it's also the fave resort of my 11 year old son.

I love the Victorian decor, the lobby, the music from the piano player or orchestra, the courtyard AND beach pools, the grounds in the morning, afternoon and evening take on different atmospheres, and the proximity to the Magic Kingdom.

I appreciate that the quick service location is open 24 hours!

    Other reasons include:
-being able to see Cinderella's Castle especially while dining in front of the marina
-the monorail to the Magic Kingdom as well as being able to shop and dine at the Polynesian and Contemporary
-the comfortable beds and the coziness of the "attic" rooms with cathedral ceiling
-the honeymoon rooms with king size beds and view of Cinderella's Castle
-the choice of character dining, a cafe, fast food, fine dining and even afternoon tea at the resort restaurants
    -the beach with romantic swings
-watching the fireworks from the resort

    And so much more!

I'd be happy to share with you information on the other deluxe resorts too. We most recently stayed at the Polynesian.

    Happy planning!
