Hi Maribel. . My sister-in-law and her 2 children just decided to join the 5 of us on our trip. We are all booked at the Poly (tho she booked seperately). Can we notify resort of the GG? Are there any bonuses or benefits for being a GG? Thank you.

    Hi Lindsey!
Thank you for your question! The first thing you should do is call (407) WDW-PLAN or (407) 934-7639, to inform the cast member that you will be traveling with a party of 8 guests or more. You will receive a Grand Gatherings number that will be linked to your reservation number. Then your sister in-law can call and have the same Grand Gatherings number linked to her reservation as well. Since the resort will know that you're a group, they will try to assign rooms that are nearby.
As a Grand Gathering Group, you can participate in special events such as Safari Celebration Dinner, the International Dinner and Illuminations Dessert Reception, the Good Morning Gathering and even order special t-shirts. All of these are at an extra cost, so be sure to ask the cast member when you call the number above.
    Have a magical Grand Gathering!
