Hi Maria. I just read a question you answered regarding the longhouses of the Poly. You suggested Fiji or Somoa for a good garden view. Are these also good ones to be near most things (eg: pool for the young ones and food and shopping for older?). Thanks

    Hi Lindsey!

Thank for your question! Samoa will put you right in between the two pools, and it's a very short walk to the Great Ceremonial House. In there, you'll find the check in area, BouTiki  and Trder Jacks for shopping, the arcade, the monorail, and a few great places to eat. Fiji will put you closer to the marina and is a slightly longer walk away from the pools and the Great Ceremonial House.

It's sounds to me like Samoa will be a perfect fit for your vacation. Alternatives from the ones I've mentioned are Niue and Rarotonga. Niue is two stories and is next to Samoa, which puts is closer to the Great Ceremonial House and a short walk to the pools. The views are nice here, too. If you have a room on the second floor and wish to use an elevator, you'll have to go through the Rarotonga longhouse which has a walkway to connect the two. Rarotonga is right next to the Great ceremonial house and is a short walk from the pools, but the views will either be the quiet pool or the parking lot (though much of it has landscaping so it isn't a dread!).

Hope this helps you! Come back to the Moms Panel if you find you have more questions while planning your trip! Have a magical vacation!
