Hi Marcy. Saw you answer a ? regarding the departure times of the DME from MCO to the port. We are staying at the Hyatt the night before the cruise and would like the earliest DME to the port. What time should we line up at desk/check in for DME? thx!

Hi again, JanaLee! I'm glad you'll be taking Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation between the airport and cruise port. It really makes for a nice, stress-free, easy transition from land to sea and back again. If you haven't already, be sure to book that with Disney Cruise Line, as there is an additional cost of $35 per person each way, but it is well worth it. Disney's Magical Express is a complimentary service for guests between the airport and the Walt Disney World Resort, and though the motorcoaches to the cruise port are similar, Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation does carry that extra fee and is not technically part of the Magical Express.

Since you'll be staying at the Hyatt at the Orlando airport the night before, the hotel will let you know what time to have your bags ready and they will send them to the ship from there. If you'd like to be on one of the first motorcoaches that leaves the airport, you can plan to head down to the check-in area for Disney's transportation in the airport about 9:00 or 9:15 a.m. That will allow you enough time to check-in with them and be ready for one of the first departures that usually begin around 9:45 or 10:00 a.m.

I hope that helps as you continue planning, JanaLee! I'd love to help with any other questions you might have, so don't hesitate to stop back before you set sail!
