This March my wife and I will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary for the week at Disney World. This will also be our first time on vacation without our daughters who are now grown. What would be the best place for dinner and some planned activity?

Happy Anniversary, William! May you celebrate the past 23 years while making magical memories for the next 23 and more. I have a couple of ideas that will hopefully spark a romantic idea.

My first suggestion would be to enjoy the exciting sights, sounds and tastes of Downtown Disney. Have dinner at Paradiso 37. The food is magnificent and the atmosphere is lots of fun with lively music and colorful Latin surroundings. After dinner, head over to see La Nouba, the Cirque du Soleil show there in Downtown Disney. For tickets, call (407) 939-7600 or online at the link I provided.

If you prefer a more subdued evening of quiet romance, I would recommend dinner at Artist Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This majestic restaurant is one of my favorites with the artwork inspired by the Pacific Northwest and the evening views over the water behind this resort. The cuisine includes Cedar Plank Salmon and their famous Berry Cobbler. Afterwards, you could sit in the rocking chairs near the fire in the main lobby and reminisce about the last 23 years together.

Last, but certainly not least, Monsieur Paul, is a lovely French restaurant upstairs in the France Pavilion in Epcot. My husband and I recently had a wonderful celebratory meal there and had a window table that overlooked World Showcase Lagoon where we watched Illuminations as we ate dessert. You could also take a short walk out the International Gateway of Epcot and head over to Disney's Boardwalk for some evening entertainment at Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar, or Atlantic Dance.

Have a magical trip just the two of you.
